You can get this power by having any of your Sims attend a class in town and then going to the challenge shop and purchasing the karma power. Note: Using the "Stroke of Genius" karma power will help speed up the writing and artistic skills significantly.

Any time the child has some free time (which should be whenever the child isn't at school, doing homework, or sleeping), have them writing/painting. Choose this as the child's wish and just keep working at it. Eventually, you'll see the "Illustrious Author" lifetime wish pop up. You could also have them go to an easel (also time to purchase one) and paint. Have the child go to a computer (it's time to buy one if you haven't already) and have them practice writing. So, I'd recommend choosing the Artistic and Bookworm traits. I found it easiest (and most profitable long-term) to have the child become a writing and painting pro. You now have the option to choose the child's traits. After this, buy another birthday cake and have the toddler blow out the candles to become a child. Just have the toddler interact with this and you'll have all 3 skills learned in no time. For potty training, you'll have to purchase the First Step Potty Chair in the buy menu (under "Kids" and "Furniture"). Talking and walking is easy to train as you simply have any adult Sim interact with the toddler. Make sure the toddler learns all of these! It's easiest to turn off aging in the options menu if you haven't already while working on this.
For the toddler phase, you have the option to train 3 skills: talking, walking, and potty training. ive done it like 30-35 times now, and no achievement. Buy the baby a birthday cake (Entertainment menu, then Party menu) and have them become a toddler. I have followed the guide by selecting an item (i tried it on a chair and a bed) change the color, then saving it. Regardless, once you get your 5th relationship underway, you'll earn this trophy:īefore we continue to the next grouping of trophies, let's revert back to our happy Sim couple with their new baby. Once divorced, have your Sim start getting flirty with other Sims until you can "Take things steady." You can follow my steps for the "Big Proposal" trophy from here on out, divorcing, and so on, or you can opt to only take things steady and then move on to the next one. Whichever one is initiating the divorce will be your focus for the remainder of this trophy since the receiver gets pretty upset. The next step is to have one Sim divorce the other. Note: You may want to refrain from saving if you intend to continue with this household (which I'd recommend, but it's up to you). If you've been following this walkthrough, how convenient! You already have 2 relationships in the books (1 for dating, 1 for marriage). A romantic relationship in this game counts dating and getting married as two separate relationships. This one requires you to start 5 romantic relationships. Moving on with the romantic relationships, the next logical path to take would be to Matchmaker.
